Is a german company specialized in the maintenance, modification repair and improvement of the Isolated Phase Busbars (IPB) in the Power Stations.

We are established since 2012 and we are working worldwide.
We have got the qualification « UTO » allowing us to work in the french nuclear power stations.

All kind of power plants may be concerned (coal fired power plants, combined cycle power plants , hydro power plants, solar power plants, nuclear power plants, etc…)with a power starting from about 30MW to 1650MW per unit.

Our target would be to become a partner for the maintenance of the IPB (or SPB/NSPB) in the power stations operated by your company.

What are busbars?

Insulated Phase Busbars are busducts in which each phase is encapsulated separately in a metallic and unmagnetical enclosure (generally in aluminium).

This enclosure isolates the phases from each other in the aim :

• to respect the phase segregation principle and by the way make the 2-phase short circuits not possible.

• to restrict temperature rise and stresses due to magnetic field on steel structures close to busducts to decrease the interaction between conductors themselves.

• to provide a protection for people against contacts either direct or indirect and against magnetic fields.

This type of equipment (costly and cumbersome) is often used for medium voltage and high current facility (>1660A).

In power plant, IPB are used for power transfer between generators and power transformers including sometimes breakers and switches.

The IPB enclosure is by construction air tight mainly in order to avoid water, humidity or dust infiltration.

IPBs are generally under a slight overpressure of dry insulating gas: air for HTA and SF6 for HTB.
